Using GPS to guide them, yuppie adventurers are more often than ever getting hopelessly loss in the wild. More and more people without the skills to survive are calling emergency services to bail them out of bad situations in the wilderness.
Most of the people you see on TV freezing and lost on the side of a mountain are there because they did not come prepared or just made stupid decisions. Perhaps it is time for these people to start paying for their rescues. Perhaps this will encourage them to think before they head out into the wild.
